I put this grounding kit on for looks mainly but..........
It could be just me but I noticed orginally when I did my pop charger at idle I had some RPM fluctuation but not much. After I did the kit.....it was gone. Could be just in my head but it still looks good.

I installed one. My ZR ran great before the install. My ZR ran equally great after the install. The only difference I noticed was I was $120 lighter in the account I use to save for MEANINGFUL mods.
i figure for the $125 at least it will make the engine bay a little better looking if nothing else. what do ya expect for $125? Now I'm a little nervous about the stereo comment though. I hope mine doesn't lose quality gggrrrrr
Don't the grounding kits just replace existing ground wires with larger wires?
Increasing the wire size of your grounds is actually VERY beneficial to high power stereo's. They help prevent voltage drops etc. Even though you may have a large ground wire from the amp or dist. block to the chassis, up in the engine bay you still only have the thin oe wire. I haven't looked at my Z's grounds but usually the OE grounds are 8ga. or smaller. The small engine bay grounds can cause a bottle neck in current flow which leads to voltage drops. You can see voltage problems manifest as lights dimming or even amp clipping during bass peaks.

Ken- no, the max grounding kit does not just replace existing wires. I bought and installed a max kit myself. The max wires are additional to existing wires. You can read installation instructions online and see this for yourself.
