I'm a big fan of clear corners. With my Audi I was able to remove the amber corners by drilling out the tabs holding them in place and then break the amber and pull it out a bulb socket. Has anyone attempted this yet? It's been too cold in NY since i got the car to start pulling stuff apart to investigate.
