Why does the Z Base model weigh less?
Perhaps this has been answered before. Why does the Base model weigh less than all the other models:
All the below weights are for manual tranny.
Base: 3,188
Enth: 3,197
Perf: 3,217
Tour: 3,247
Track: 3,225
35th: 3,299
I would expect the track to weigh less with the lightweight rims. 111 lbs lighter than the 35th edition is quite a lot.

I thought about the Brembos, but did not expect that it would be that much more. Additional computer for vdc/tcs and navi can't weigh that much. I suppose all the little things add up. I was just suprised, especially on the track model with the lightweight rims, that the Base would weigh less.

Not sure what kind of weight the vdc adds. The track model also gets the aero kit which adds a little weight too.
