For 15 Grand, you can buy 430 CHP, wheels/tires, a decent BBK and still have money left over. I personally would never trade my Z for a Vette, but a viper...yeah maybe. You can get a well cared for 97 GTS these days for mid-40's.

I had the same question and ended up spending money on the Z. Truthfully, I am not sure I made the right decision, even though I do love the car.

You can get really great prices on 03-04 Z06's these days.

The z06 is a sweet car, I almost got one but I really like the reliability of Nissan. But it seems the 350Z is not quite living up to that. I still my LOVE my Z though

I just don't see how anyone can answer this question for you.

I'd say buy a new car if you're getting tired of the Z.

Only one way to find out which is better buddy - go drive the other cars! If they don't do anything for you, dump the money into the Z.

It's comparing apple to melons...I use melons since I like melons. Anyhow, as much as I like vette's, I see them all over the place. They just don't stand out anymore. A Viper of course is a different story...well at least in my neck of the woods.
But if you're asking for input, I'd have to say dump it in the Z and you'll get more performance then either a vette or a viper. And Z's are still IMO head turners!

Vette/Viper hands down.... Your always better off just buying a car with more power from the factory then to try and heavily modify your existing one. Lot less headaches also.
