WTF is going on w/ these cars? I was genuinely considering a discounted '05 but damn... I'm wondering if I may work the car too hard... I know on both test drives I relaized you can't help but redline all the time... These VQ's are scaring me...

Im not saying that mario isn't having problems, but for every Z owner out there that posts a problem with their car, there are 10 others that haven't had any problems at all. I wouldn't let one persons experience peresuade you from buying such a beautiful machine.

ratio is closer to 1 to 10000 imho, lol. This engine is the best V6 in the world.

most problems are due to mods and improper use and maintenance. And most of the problems are minor.

The problem does sound strange, but if there are no other symptoms and the car runs fine, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's still bad there is warranty, and if it's still bad there are lemon laws.

I had a similar problem in my previous car, it was a bad alternator. It also sounds like your dealer never really replaced your tranny. Either they tried to fix it or you drive very hard. 3 tranny's is pretty crazy. IMO the Z tranny is pretty strong. But I agree with sg40. Good luck.

9700 miles and your on your 3rd tranny and 2nd clutch?
Now the engine is not working... And the way you post is all calm like... Hmm something smells fishy

You either suck hardcore at driving a manual transmission, or your full of BS. probably both

You sound more like a 350z hater trying to bash are cars... If this is your 3rd tranny how come we have not heard from you before?

Yes there were some problems with the transmission and clutch on some of the 2003 models. But what you describe is very doubtful. Go back to your STI forums...

My '03's at the dealer waiting for a throttle chamber and computer. My service engine soon light (sesl) went on and a couple times my VDC and slip lights went on when I started the car. The VDC and slip lights went off when I restarted the car but the sesl stayed on. The dealer said if that part went out the car would stall. Maybe that's your problem. Dealer said there's a Service Bulletin on it and the computer's on national back order. Nissan's paying for a rental car right now, which is cool, but I sure hope its not like the feathered tires. Waited 3 months for that. At least I was able to drive the Z then, but this time the dealer says the cars not safe to drive.

Just took my car to the dealer to have it looked at. Just want to say thanks for all your inputs. I know I dont post much cuz I dont know much about 350z. And for the the trinny problem i alson think tha the dealer did not replace it untell the 3rd time but they told me they did but who knows. As for Built2shredZ if u have nothing to good to say then dont say anything at all. If u read my post is sayed i Love the car but its just giving me problems. I dont drive crazy and dont push the car like i should and its giving me all the prblems already. I understand that not every one gets problems like a friend of mine got the same care around the same time as me and his is doing fine. Guess I just got a lemon.

By the way i have been driving a stick since 16 and im 24 now so please dont tell me how to drive a stick. I am a big time NISSAN lover which i have the Z and a 240sx that i have been working on for a while and had my sister pick up an G35. So please dont bash on ppl that you dont even know and have respect for ppl. I really like this fourm so dont make it look bad on bashing ppl when u get a chance.

The Lemon Law clam is getting processed and hope it goes through. Hope none of you guys have to go through the porblems that i have to go through.
