Default About to Buy a 2003 350Z

I'm about to buy a 2003 Daytona blue 350z with the aero package and stereo package. The car only has 10,500 miles on it, it looks great. When driving it i heard the tire roar like described in many other posts. The guy that’s selling it had gotten a notice from Nissan that he is eligable for replacement tires, but i guess he never noticed the noise. My question is if there replace by Nissan and the alignment is corrected, is it worth buying because this problem can come back again and again as I’ve seen in many other posts? Do you really have to replace the tires that often? I have always loved the car and it drives great but this tire noise issue doesn’t look like there’s any kind of fix for it just a Band-Aid to mask the problem, until the 2 year warranty from Nissan is up on the tire recall. Any suggestions? tire roar drives me nuts i had that problem in a Jeep wrangler (cupping tires)

Any advice would be appreciated

STAY AWAYYYYYYYY. Find another Z. The problems will most likely just keep coming back. I highly doubt the dealer is going to replace the WHOLE suspension and all that stuff to fix the problem. They are bastards... so your best bet is to just to look at another Z.

Why buy a used car that you know has problems? +1 on staying away.

Kind of the luck of the draw on the 03s. Mine has had zero problems other than minor feathering....but I've still got 23,000 miles on the OEM tires.

Probably better to get an 04 but 10,500 miles does sound appealing...........if price is right. How much are you paying?

24,000.00 , the dealer informed me that the car only carries the 2 year tire warranty from date of purchase. So I guess i'll be looking else where

If that's true, that's a load of crap.... But you should at least be able to get the front end put into spec thru the TSB. Just be ready to buy a new set of tires.

My '03 had the roar and I had the TSB done (and got new tires) and it hasn't come back...that was about 10k miles ago.
