camber problem??
is there a camber problem with 03-04 350z?
i heard it from insurance company and they said i had to pay more money, because it has a camber problem.
if they really do have camber problem, should i take it to dealer and get it replace under warranty? or is there a recall on this problem?

Not that I know of . . . I know there is not a "camber adjustment" on the front, but I'm thinking the insurance co is referring to the "toe in" condition that contributes to the "tire feathering" on some of the vehicles. I simply had a laser alignment done during that time and have not ran across any issues since.

I think the insurance company is pulling your leg. If it is a high risk company you are insured through they may be using this excuse to "extort" more money from you. These high risk insurance companies charge higher premiums on either uninsurable or high risk insurers and will charge for just about anything. My mom is an insurance agent so i have been around it for most of my life. If you are going through a national known insurance company, i.e. nationwide, GMAC, etc.., they shouldnt be charging you extra on a problem that even the car maker isnt or wont admit to. I would double check with more insurance companies and see what their rate is. I would be leary about the one that is charging you for this. Good luck.
Actually, there was a recall on the 03 for tire feathering. It was the saddest fix ever! Nissan agreed to replace their 03 customers' set of tires after a certain amount of mileage. So they never cured the problem. The 04 and 05 do not display this symptom (note I said symptom, because the root cause of the problem may not have been fixed). This is an old issue and why there are so many used 03s around.
There has never been a suggestion that this "Camber problem" that the tire feathering is attributed to poses a hazard that makes the car more dangerous, and thusly a higher risk to your insurance carrier. Unless you're buying insurance for repair costs not accident related, I can't see them having any grounds to increase premiums based on this issue.
If there had been a single "blow-out" related accident that Nissan was able to attribute to this problem, the TSB would have in-fact been a Recall as mavtais mentioned. However, TSB and recall are very different things.
