okay,i know the last thing this board needs is another tire feathering post. but i am trying to get a Z within the next month and the 03s are about the only thing i can afford. that being said i wanted to confirm if my research inthe tire feathering is correct:
-it happens in 03', 04', 05'
-it's caused by toe in and since caster and toe are not adjustable and aligment will not fix the problem
-the stock potenzas have bad tread life which amplyfies the problem further
-with michelin pilots we can get 15K worth off of the feathering
-nissan has a tsb for only the 03s
-nissan has awarded owners 2 years of complimentary tires...after this period the tires are under your dime
-feathering is caused only on the inside part of the tire
-adjustable camber links and aftermarket suspension parts help decrease tire feathering
well that's it. please let meknow which ones hold true and which are just heresay. this whole issue is making me real tentative with getting a Z right away.
