so i just recenctly purchased an 05 Enthusiast and i noticed the other day that the drivers side window was making a grinding sound when i put it up. so i took it to the dealership today and left her there... they call me back and told me that the motor was grinding... i was like wut the F. this car only has 2000 miles on it and it already has a big problem? so now i have to wait a week for them to order a motor and install it.... should i expect more problems down the road?

 

Oh my god you have to get a window motor replaced!!!! BFD they are going to do it for free. I guess having cool emoticons with guns doesn't save you from small fixable problems. Honestly this thread is pointless, if you take five minutes to read the forums you can find out the typical problems people have with their Z's i.e. tire feathering, window grease, creaks, squeaks, vibrations. Unless you are asking the great internet to predict the future and tell you what is going to go wrong with it.

Grammar is one thing (this isn't like subject verb agreement, or ending a sentence with a preposition), but the word "what" is at a first grade reading level. I understand this isn't a dissertation but an internet forum, but honestly use some common sense.

Also I wouldn't have said anything if the thread had some merrit to begin with.

For the OP: Search is your friend. It prevents threads that degrade like this one has. In response to your question, problems with window motors are common in this car, don't sweat it. It doesn't mean a thing about the future of your car. It would benefit your "Z experience" greatly if you had a more optimistic outlook on your car. Enjoy it and deal with the little stuff as it comes along. The Z is a kick butt car, but like anything man made, it will have its' little quirks. Roll with 'em and smoke a few ricer boys on the street and the quirks just won't matter as much. Good luck.
