Default im going to buy a z

i am going to be buying a z soon and i want a track model. i cant find one anywhere near me. i live in utah and i looked all the way to vegas. my question is; is it a PITA (other than the wait) to order one direct from the factory? does it cost extra if they can find one somewhere else in the country and ship it here?

Try searching the forums... the changes in the 06 model have been discussed.

I have been doing some searches on 05 models thru www.autotrader.com. There is a dealer in Tuscon that seems to have some killer deals on Z's. Not sure how for you are from there. I am from Texas where it takes two days to go from one side to the other

There are no substantive changes in 06; I suspect you can get a much better deal n 05. From posts I've seen here it is to late to order an 05 from the factory.

It generally costs about $500 to ship a car; dealer may or may not have you pay it; depends on how much he wants to make a sale.

Only issue on ordering is wait; it should not cost you more. Do make sure the dealer actually gets the order placed.

i searched in texas too. i use to live there and my sister lives there. arizona isnt too far away from here. if it is true that i cant order from the factory my best bet is to see if the dealership can find one somewhere else.
