My car in motion (pics)
I'm not sure about the spacer thing? Would anyone mind giving me the low down? I asume it makes the wheel come out further as to give the apearance of wider tires? Is this to save money on rims rather than buying something like a 10" width and going with a cheaper 8" and a 2" spacer? If i'm right or wrong, your car looks AMAZING!!!! And if those rims are cheap like i thought i was reading, Sheeet.. Hook a brotha up with some info on where i can get some!! YEEE HAAAAA

good questions bro, as for the spacer issue, some can say it widens the wheel base width on the car itself, but for me it was more of appearance. I do have the 8.5 front width and the 9.5 width on the rears, my problems were the offsets. They were tucked in cause they were high offsets.
With the spacers it made in essence a lower offset, thus making the wheel pop out more. I did this for two reasons. 1. for the look and 2. cause i'm planning on getting a big brake kit in the near future.
as for the wheels they are the Axis Supermesh's. They come in only 40 and 45 offsets, so if you want this inexpensive wheel you're going to have to get spacers.
i hope that helped out.
thanks for the comments

So the higher you go in offset, the smaller the lip gets in what would be a deep dish rim if you were getting a 10" width rim correct? Other wise a high offset rim on something as big as 10" wide wouldn't fit right... i think? And then visa versa, a low offset would let the rim fit correctly but give it a deeper dish look? Sorry for the newb questions

findingnismo, you have the right idea, go do a search on the forum for 'offset'
should help you fully.
when you buy wheels just look for offets around 25-28 that will be fine.

Love the front lip (I think I saw the lip in the last picture) and the side mod. I'm not a spoiler type guy, but I defiently want to do the lip and side mod now because of your pics
PS: Love the rims, But I can tell they are way too expensive for me, they look like 1,000 rims.

The wheels don't have to be cheap or anything to be running wheelspacers. Sometimes people find a set of rare wheels for the Z that they don't want to let go. The wheels are not custom ordered so the offsets make them look too sunken in...wheel spacers to the rescue!
Most custom ordered wheels, or brands that have a huge market for the Z, will provide a plethora of offsets for it. They know which offsets sit flush and what provides a little leg room for different tire applications. (Volks, Work, Iforged, HRE's)
A low offset can also work against you, because if it's TOO low you have to shave your fenders or go with a really stretched tire to allow it to fit behind the fender.
As far as the lip goes, it depends on the wheel and how concave or flat-faced it is.The lower the offset, the lesser the "inner rim" is pushing to the outside of the wheel. So technically you're getting less "lip" when it is more positive but that really depends on the wheel design (concavity, single/multipeice).
(e.g. look at a 10.5 SF challenge (+23 offset)=3-4" lip and compare it to a 10.5 LE37T (+22 offset)= 2" lip. The rules don't really apply to the lip, it's just the design and application)
Spacers are a way of just fine-tuning when it comes to a more ambiguous wheel-brand-make that is not soo tailored to the car.
Anyhow, that was the most info I could spit out with the least amount of time. Try doing a search and look up the "sticky" threads on top, or the earlier ones dating a couple years back since they contain the most wealth in basic "newbie" info.
Back to our scheduled program: Your car is sick Sang! People need to take more pics of the Z in motion because that's when the car is in it's true element.
