To start, sorry if i am posting in the wrong forum, and also thanks for your help in advance.

Here is my situation, i have some new rims and tires on order and will be selling my track wheels very soon. The tires on my track wheels are BALD in the back and the fronts have apparent feathering. So i was thinking to sell them w/o tires.

Question 1: Is this a smart move, selling just the rims?

Question 2: I have looked at the classifieds and have seen that track wheels WITH tires sell for ~1000-1400, what should i sell my Rims for (i dont want to make money off them i just want to sell the for what they are worth).

1) Yes. Nobody wants to pay the extra shipping for tires that they just have to throw away.

2) $800-$1200 depending on condition of the wheels.

BTW, the correct forum to sell them in is the Private Classifieds/Wheels, Tires, Brakes and Suspension.
