Default Cheapest possible snow/allseason tires?

Title says it all, what is the barebones I can put on my car? Its a temporary fix since I'll have a winter car in a month

Also, looks like I can save some cash if I go with 225/50-17 front and rear, is that OK to do??!?! Seems like 235 series winter/AS tires see a big price hike.

thats a tough one, 30grand riding on ice with the cheapest tires, while that sounds like the fastest way to really kick yourself, I see how you have little choice.
