Default so my car is at PERFORMANCE NISSAN

I took my car in this morning for the 1st to 2nd shift grind at redline. Also for the rear squirter to be fixed and my windows are going up at different speed. So far I have faith in Performance nissan to help me out as they have in the past. I have been really happy with there service, especially with Javier, Andy, Jason, and Jeff who have answered all my questions.

Thanks guys
Gilbert

Is that an issue? My windows are going up at different speeds too (driver's side is faster than passenger side).

yeah isn't it annoying as hell?

Well I believe its because one motor is about to fail or the timing is off none the less they need to fix it

It's at Performance Nissan? Wow... mine's in the underground parkade here at work. Was there a point to this thread Gilbert, or are you just wasting time at work like me?

I was wondering the same to be honest. I took mine in last week to have the window motor replaced and grease streaks fixed. Today it is in for radio replacement (they had to order it) and a new cup holder. Had I known anyone might want to read that, I would have posted it heh. Now you know something that previously only my wife knew. Prepare to die.

Is the grinding from 1st to 2nd at redline a warranty issue? I have the same problem in my 05.

Thanks -

It dam well better be this is my third MT and this is my only car that does this. I consider myself to be a good driver so its definately caused by me. Something thats no caused by me better dam be a warranty issue cause thats bull crap!

Plus I spoke to Jeff, Jason, and Andy and they told me to take it in also Javier told me to bring it in for a look. Real nice guys down there I'd rather take it to them when literally next door to my office is Metro nissan, thats some trust. I hope they give me a new tranny or I'm going to be mad

I have a 3rd gear tranny grind and when i took mine to Nissan of Apex, NC they said the technician couldnt reproduce the problem. I told them if i downshifted from 6th, 5th, or 4th into 3rd above 50MPH that it would grind. They're advice was that i shouldnt be downshifting into 3rd at 50MPH. WTF????!!!! It is a sports car right???

Ahhh... the title threw me off of what you wanted.

I've had it twice, but I think it's cuz I was a little too quick on disengaging the clutch.

Im going to put mine back in the shop and take the tech with me on a test ride. It now grinds when downshifting into 3rd around 40MPH instead of 50MPH like it used to. Now maybe they will notice!!
