Default A little dissapointed got a call from PERFORMANCE NISSAN

The call I was waiting for and it made me mad. Performance Nissan called me and told me that they can't duplicate the grind from 1ST to 2ND.

Everyone on this forum has that problem it happens 1 out of 3 times I told them and they probably tried it once and gave up.

I could of easily took it next door to my office for that decision but I took it to PERFORMANCE because I really like there service.

I still have hope and I want it fixed and could anyone tell me if there is a TSB on the window motor because they want to charge me 100 bucks.

Also they told me they have never heard of the rear window squirting washer fluid at full throttle. Performance has never heard of that yeah right

I'm pist

But I really don't want to give up on Performance Nissan
don't let me down guys.

Gilbert

I don't get why everyone keeps coming on the board and criticizing Performance Nissan. I've never really done business with them, except I think I ordered my popcharger from them (didn't know who they were, they just had the best price online) and never had any problems. What every happened to just talking to them and working out the problem with them? They're the ones who are working on your car, not us. What good does it do to tell us? Or at least wait until they have a chance to fix the problem, which it doesn't sound like there is one.
They couldn't replicate the grind, so go in and get one of them to ride with you and do what you normally do when it happens. I have a clunking in my steering when I turn at low speeds and I took it to the dealer and they couldn't replicate it but I didn't come on here and rant about it. It doesn't help anything. If there's a problem with the window and it's not covered under warranty it comes down to whether you can live with the window or would rather pay $100. Work with the people who are doing the work, don't just come online and libel their business. Take it to another place and see what they tell you if you don't like what they tell you at PN. I don't think anything that you said happened should make you pissed at them, because it doesn't represent bad customer service or lack of knowledge. They are telling you what they found, just because you may not like it doesn't mean that they did a bad job.
This isn't any sort of personal attack and I have no affilitaion with performance nissan but I would say the same thing for any business. I feel bad for them because they didn't do anything to you and now everyone comes on here and reads bad stuff over and over about them and may make a decision based on it.

no offense but i dont think these threads are fair. take it to them, go through the whole process with them, then post your thoughts after all is said and done.. but dont make a thread for every problem. if they honestly cant reproduce the problem what do you want them to do? put yourself in their position.
maybe you could arrange to take a tech for a drive and show the problem to him/her?

Who the hell said I'm criticizing them I love there service they are a bunch of great guys down ther but seriously how am I not going to get frustrated when this is obviously not just a problem I'm having. It is not ok when I can't redline my car because its going to grind it's ********. I've taken it to two other dealers and I got the same crap. The only reason I took my car to Performance was because I delt with them for another problem which they fixed for me and since then I love that dealer. I just dont like the run around!
I am in no way talking shat about them did you read my last line.

You can't title a post "Now Im getting PIST got a call from PERFORMANCE NISSAN" and then rant for 3 paragraphs about them and then at the end say come on guys, help me out and expect everyone to think that you are giving them a shining recommendation whether you are or aren't. Also, I said that I wasn't personally attacking you, but be an adult and think before you speak. Try to solve the problem first and then post up if you have problems. If they do all this (I use that phrase lightly because it doesn't sound like they've done anything to you and you could get your car back and not pay anything-hence no problem) and they don't take care of you in the end, then I can understand where you are coming from but this is your second post with their name in capital letters saying how pissed you are and then you say that you aren't mad, you love them. I'm sorry but whether you are trying to or not you are making them look bad. If I was them and saw all this crap I would tell you I don't want to work on your car because you obviously aren't going to be satisfied.

Also, I didn't forget about it. I went in and got one of the techs to ride with me and they heard the problem. A little steering fluid solved the problem. See, all you have to do is actually get them to help you figure out the problem (that's their job) and work with them and I'm sure it will be fixed. Wait until the situation is actually resolved or not resolved before you post bad stuff about a company. Be responsible for what you say. I'm not embarrassed about anything I've said to you because I thought about it before I typed it. Try it.

I had the same problem they could no duplicate grinding in third gear. I took the service manager on a test drive and showed him the problem.

Performance Nissan fixed it after they heard the problem. They are not trying to rip you off they just need to prove that the griding is a problem in your car.

Performance Nissan has been good to me and alot of other members on this board fixing warrenty issues. Just talk to Javier the service manager hes a really nice person and will help you out .

Your title to this thread can be misleading readers into a negative view of Performance Nissan. Maybe it's best to update things when the situation with the shift grinding has been totally taken care of. My suggestion is that you duplicate the sound for one of their tech's during a ride along.

Hopefully they can take care of your situation in a timely manner. Best of luck.

explain to me in my first post where I directly attack performance nissan. When did I say I hate their service or talk crap see my previous post. The reason I posted this was to get some info from fellow members to see what they did in this situation. I no way did I talk bad about them and in my last line I specifically said that I still have hope in the and I hope the problem gets resolved. This is the third dealer I go to so I am doing my part so read correctly before you speak.

I know what you mean RED6 Javier is a really nice guy he has helped me out in a problem I had with my ABS a few months back. They found the problem after POWER AND METRO nissan gave me the run around. I will take javier out for a spin tommorrow to duplicate the problem. So dont get me wrong I respect them but how am I not supposed to be frustrated.

I know what you feel man, you just want your baby to be back healthy... asap.

I'm sure they will come through for you... they just need to hear the problem first.

Yeah man definitely... hopefully I can catch you at some of the meets.

I thought I saw your Z driving up Ramona toward the 60fwy but I was fiddling with the radio and couldn't wave at the time.

LOL... I'm working on the "big structured" part, trying to go to bally's gym in Rancho Cucamonga after work to lose the spare tire around the waist area.
