being stupid...wrecked my car.
*PUI*
I'm so wasted right now...but I just gotta share this. Please no flaming...I know I was being stupid. But I was trying to drift my Z in an empty place...and the Toyo T1S was too grippy I guess...and it didnt drift like I wanted to, and I SLAMMED my rear right wheel into the curb...now the whole rear axle needs to be replaced. The rear right wheel is like having a total positive camber. Anyways I hope it can be fixed soon...no more stupidity from me...even in an empty space. It's like a f'in nightmare...I deserved it tho. Being stupid and adrenalin rushed...oh well. Learned my lesson. I'll drive like a granny after my Z is fixed...

man...I'm sorry... not a flame... but.. you really should take some instuction time at a track. its cheaper that fixing your Z when you meet curbs. G'luck getting her fixed.. she'll be back to normal soon
Ouch... sorry to hear that. Please clarify that you weren't wasted (via alcohol) while attempting this drift.
+1 for instruction or the track. Autocross is a great outlet too...
Good luck on your repairs. Pics and a follow-up on how things progress would be appreciated as it's a good lesson for the rest of us too.

It's funny how many people have made this exact same post in the last few months.
Anyway, sorry to hear about the damage. It sounds like an easy fix, and a mistake that has been learned from. Life goes on.

thanx guys...yes I have learned my lesson, and no, I wasn't drunk at the time behind the wheel. I never drink and drive.
Yea it should be ok...fix the rim, and replace the rear axle...but I have to wait for Nissan to bring the parts in.
I do need to take some drifting lessons...

Last winter I was driving in my neighborhood and it was snowing so it was very very slick (I had my RSX back then) and tried to go around this corner and it didnt turn and i SLAMMED the curb and broke my axel also except it was my front one. IT also loked ike i had a positive camber it sucked took like 2 weeks to get all the parts in and fix. Sorry to hear i know how you feel.
sorry to hear about your car. my jaw literally drop when i saw the thread and your sn. glad to hear your okay and no major damage happened to the car. I know you went with the tein basics, are you gonna switch the suspension out. think about what parts need to be replaced and see if you can go after market parts to adjust toe and camber for the rear since you are interested in drifting. Once again glad to hear you're okay and you baby should be up and running in no time.
