This is just a question and is in absolutely no way trying to flame you. Did you have a problem with the original shifter? Was the throw too long? I am curious why people feel the need to change things that are almost perfect. Was the shifter a hassle for you or was it just an inexpensive mod with a simple install so that you can keep your hobby going?

I am curious on how the short shifter improved things as well. Not sure how much shorter the throws can be.

Tk2005 do you like modding your car? well I do and I just ordered all the mods I could think of to improve my car and I'm pretty sure that reducing the throw by 20% should be significant.

That's cool. Let us know how it works out for you. I am sure the change will be significant....significant good or significant bad, we'll have to wait and see.

That's cool man! Can't wait to see pics. I want to replace mine but don't want to spend quite that much. Plus, I'm worried about how hot it's gonna get because I want to go to a really clean looking stainless or some sort of polished metal shifter. Let us know how it feels when you get it in!

Hey fletch are we talking about the same thing?

I'm talking about the actual short throw shifter that rogue engineering makes not the ball. I have a black nismo shifter that was 50 bucks. Tonight I will install the actual shifter I'll show you picks.
