Bought mine on my own, my folks are poor, i make more then they do. I have never gotten a free car or anything, i had to buy and drive a 1978 datsun B210 in highschool that was pretty ghey.

I also got my car when i was 20 and on my own no help from parents i had an audi tt before which i got on my own at 19 but was totalled I am now 21

I'm 30. I refied one of my homes to purchase my 2005 350z almost 2 weeks ago and loving. This is my second Z I've owned. My first was a 1993 300zx TT.
