Default Just ordered the 2006 Z!

Just thought I'd share this moment

*tear*

Everything Blue Komodo said is correct, no more external antenna (its in the windows now,) bi-xenon projectors, etc... but for some reason, the dealers here arent getting the engines pumped up to 300 bhp.... lame...

anyway, delivery date is scheduled for late Oct early Nov. I went with blue as an exerior, but they arent sure what interior colors they are getting yet rims are a standard 18"

No engine is getting pumped to 300bhp... that would be nice if it was, but no. All the engines are just comeing with the 300hp 05 track engine.

So basically either way instead of the 287hp we're getting 300hp. Still a bump up in power nonetheless. Good enough to make mouths happy.

Question samery 2k, what version did you get (base, enthusiast)?? What's the cost gonna come out to?? The blue one you got, did you happen to see the color "Airstream", is it much like the daytona blue??

It means that the HP is measured at the output shaft (crank) by means of a brake attached to that output.

Answer, Vegas350Z: this is weird so bear with me: they only bring one model to Dubai and they call it the 'premium model.' translation= leather seats, 18" rims, in-dash navigation, Auto transmission and other sweet options you can check out on this site www.nissan-me.com/350z/

basically, the cars they bring here have to undergo certain 'gulf specifications test' because this is the desert at the end of the day so cars have to be prepared (both physically and psychologically ) with that in mind...

the blue i chose is called monterey blue which is something you guys dont have, but it looks suspiciously close to the daytona blue that you do have...

Hey Samery2k,

Congrats again buddy! I don't think we're getting the antenna change here. If you have it tinted, make sure the film is not metal based. As to avoid reception problems.

Ya never know about the antenna. The only pics that I have seen of the 06 are of the ZR. Haven't seen any of the coupe. If they put the antenna in the rear window of the coupe there is no way they could do it with the ZR unless they put it in the front window.

well AMIGO--

If they were to hide the antenna on the 350Z it would be in the rear window. The only pics that i have seen of the 06 are of the roadster (ZR). Those pics had the rear antenna. I haven't seen any of the 06 350Z (non-roadster)

comprende?

irony..?

i'm thinking of a four letter work; starts with a j ends with an e? i'm sure you've heard of it; j/k- anyway, i dont really care if the antenna's on the windshield wipers when I'm cruising in my Z... so..

cheers, and relax, amigo
