What would you do with $3K
I know, it isn't much. But have set aside $3K to do something to my new, '05 SB z, Touring.
I would love to hear some experience based opinions on what to do with $3K on a stock touring.
Some guidelines:
1. I don't want to void the warranty.
2. I am not very experienced in the modification, mechanical or racing world.
3. I would appreciate setting my z apart with physical appearance enhancements (front end)
4. I have some ideas: tinting the windows (with a cool looking, not guady, color tint) a radar detector that i can put the sensor in the front and rear and have the "unit" in the place the nav. system would be, a performance computer that reports hp, 1/4 and 0-60. (I escort makes one??),
Thanks for your ideas. I don't have money sitting around so I want to make the best decisions and I believe the folks on this site can provide some great ideas!

JWT popcharger, window tint, lowering springs. You dont want to invest on a real aggressive body kit if you cant match it up with some wheels. Always get wheels before a body kit! You can enhance the Z with a nice carbon fiber lip. Upgrade your stereo since you spend most of your time inside your car.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I would suggest some forged 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in the back rims or 19's. Nothing says cool like new rims. In fact the only part on the Z that doesnt look good imo is the3 stock wheels unless you have the anniversary edition. Plus the Z corners better with rider rims and doesnt peal out so easy on take offs with the wider rubber.
