Default Da*** the Clutch to HeII

I was having some fun today with another fellow Z-er,and while shifting from 2nd to 3rd,while in third my car just like stoped movin,my RPM's were at like 3K but refused to go past that.He blew by me like i was standing still....
You could smell the clutch too,i don't know what's going on,i only have like2500 miles on the clock, but i got the Car with like 800,the GM of the dealership was driving it and God only knows how he was driving it,when i have issues like this allready.....

Sometimes my Shifter would get stuck when shifting from 2 nd to 3rd also, and i relly have to kinda give it a punch from the side to get it out of gear!

The clutch feels fine when i drive normal, and no issues with the shifting either. But when going thru the curves a litle faster and trying to shift from 2nd to third i get that problem with the shifter too.....

Is my 05 the First one with tranny issues?????

thats exactly what happens when a tech gets behind the wheel of anything remotley fast. My brother in law is a tech for jaguar and someone dropped off a black sb z for inspection. As soon as he finished he took it on the road behind the dealership and beat the hell out of it. He said he managed to chirp 4th. He also does that with all the jags and porsches that he gets to drive.

I bought mine a few months ago with only a few miles on it. I went to race a couple of times and the first few times I hit it really hard, the clutch pedal was stuck down about 3/4 of the way down. It was still pulling just a little bit, but BAD smell! It only happened a few times, and now everything is fine.

Take it to the dealership and use your warranty I guess. I just hate dropping my car off there cuz those ******** don't give a **** about your car...

That abuse is so totally wrong. Somebody should set up a secret car cam to record it then get that guy fired. Well assuming you don't like the guy. I already don't like him. The kids at the carwash had my stereo on my prodigy cd turned so loud I could hear it from inside the waiting room. I was very very pissed and let them have it. Problem is if you hand your keys to somebody "valet, carwash attendent, service people" ... you'll most likely never know if they abused it unless there's something visible to be found.
