need new tires need help?
this is prlly in the wrong place but.
i need new tires badly the stock potenza's r terrible and my rears are basically slicks.. and i dont' know what is a good tire to get my concernes are:
1. tread life and dry performance
2.wet performance
3. noise
i need tires with decent tread life while not sacrificing performance i have looked at gf goodrich g-force T/A's and they look pretty good but then there is also the toyo t1-r and the t1-s i'm just not sure can someone steer me in the right direction
thanx drew

I just put on a set of T1 Rs on OEM 18' wheels. The Brick runs quieter & smoother. Tread life is supposed to be good but I'm only at 2000 miles or so. Just returned from a very spirited run with speeds up to 110 or so and a curvy section where I was well over the posted curve speed. Tires stuck like glue. No clue on wet roads but I suspect they will do fine. The T1 Rs have very deep groves cut in them.
Another really good tire is Goodyear Eagle F1s GSD3 but they don't come in OEM 18'sizes.

You might check the above link. Their surveys do not include Toyos because Tireack does not sell them.

I would also agree that checking the Tire Rack reviews from real people would be the best way to gather information.
