Default HELP! Should i buy this Z? Should i get the Warranty?

hey guys tomorrow it looks like i am goin to buy a silver 03 touring with 31,000 miles on it for $25,000. I got them down to $22,900. The car has a small paint chip on the hood, many paint chips on the front bumper and 2 curb rashed rims and a small scratch on the fender. They said they will paint the front bumper for me, and the rims scratched i can live with bc ill get new ones soon. Is this a good deal?
Also i am buying it used from a honda dealership and they have a warranty that basically covers everything but maintenance of the car. It costs $35/month for 5 years and if you bring the car in, its a $100 surcharge. Is this worth it seeing its very close to nissan factory warranty being finished? This is the link of the car.. what do you guys think?

I think the price is in line with the kelly book. I would really read all of the details on the Dealership Warranty, especially the fine print. Are you planning on modding the car? If so some Mods might void your warranty. Find out what TSB, if any have been performed on the car. Check this closley before the factory warranty expires. I have an 03, same car and have had the tire issues just like many others on this forum. I have replaced them via the Nissan TSB and under warranty. Also the amp for the Bose sucked and it was replaced via a TSB issued from Nissan. I would ask the local Nissan Dealer to inspect the car and I would ask the Dealer to pay it or at least split it with you.

Good Luck

blue book retail is bs... i bought my car 9 months ago and the blue book retail is 2k over what I paid...

Buy the warranty from a nissan dealer... as long as the car is still under its original warranty you can buy the extended. Check and see what the trade in value for that car is at kbb.com and work up from that price. Thats how much the dealer got for it, if a dealer really sold it for retail or even private party value they would make more on used cars than new cars.
