Hey everyone,
I need your help. I'm planning on purchasing a car in the next few weeks, and the Z is at the top of my list. I did A LOT of research on these forums, and need your opinion.
This car I'm going to buy is going to be my primary commuting car, not a weekend or pleasure car. I have read that the ride is bumpy, rear visibility is bad, no storage space, small trunk space, but the only thing that keeps me hanging onto this idea of the Z is the SPEED and because it's a Z!
The other option i'm looking at is a BMW 325 coupe as it fits my goal of getting a sporty car, yet it is more of a comfy car at the expense of overall power.
So, give me your unbiased opinion, would you recommend this car if I'm giong to be on the freeways a lot and just using this as my primary vehicle? Or is this more of a "drive it on the weekends" kind of car?
My fate rests on your hands. Thanks a lot!!

let's say the money is not an issue...
for everyday driving, i think either cars are fine, but for everyday needs, i think the bmw will be a better choice....
but the fun-factor.........
indeed a hard choice, but for everyday car, i think
bmw will be a better choice, unless you are willing to trade the extra room for the fun-factor....
i'd buy a bmw if i was in your shoes...
but i am not....
good luck!!

Hard to be in someone else's head but lets give it a shot.
If I was in my 20s or 30s and had another place to make it with babes (besides a back seat.
), I'd buy the Z in a heartbeat as primary transportation. The car is comfortable, rides well for a sports car, has amazing power, and has drop dead good looks.
Also appears to do well in the reliability category. Mine is on order and I've been reading this forum to see what kind of problems are popping up. So far, the only complaints I've seen CONSISTANTLY are orange peel paint & poor stero system. Not deal breakers to me.
Keep in mind (a) I don't have mine yet and (B) I used to rid motorcycles on a daily basis as well as for biz trips even though I owned perfectly good cars.
