"Bricks": Are you still happy?
Earlier tonight I was reading the threads related to Brickyard Zzzs. Apparently, people eithor love or hate the color. Personally, I'm in the love camp.
But curious: any Bricks out there that wish they had a different color?
Dr. Bonz.......no need for you to reply; your feelings are clear!
You are hereby nominated as the Head Brick.
(PS: I'd still like to see any posts/pics from Bricks who had after market leather added at a custom shop.)

Brickyard simply rules, there can be no doubt, all detracters are Philistines who rail unjustly against the mighty Brickyard! Our Zaino guru and chieftain of the Brickyard clan, Dr. Bonz, will dazzle us with his wordcraft which far surpasses my own. The floor is all yours, o Zainoed one.

My Brick is a whoppin' 10 days old and is a beautiful color. Clear bra goes on Monday then Zaino-time.I have yet to see a DB, LS, or AW but think the DB or LS would be a bit bright for my taste.
As I prefer the metallic paint look, redline and SB were out. Too much silver out there for me although the Silverstone looks rich.
I don't think this car would even look bad in "Mary Kay Pink" but am glad I ordered the less common, unique, classy Brickyard.

I finally saw a 'brickyard' Z in person several weeks ago......
Absolutely stunning. I was at the dealer to look at a LeMans Sunset, but to my surprise it just didn't compare to the brickyard (IMO). The brickyard (and I never thought I'd say this about a shade of purple) exudes class. Very, very nice color.

I've had nothing but wonderful comments about the color. I myself love it. The second I saw it at the dealer when I picked it up I knew I made the right choice. Off topic: I seen a SS on the lot a month before I got mine and that is the only other Z I have seen to date. Can't say I wouln't have been happy with any color other than the silvers (just to many) but I do love the BRICK.

Ah, always nice to get confirmation on one's choice. After seeing the post on Nissan zapping "The Brick" color, I woke up last night in a cold sweat wondering if it would be eliminated before mine gets painted! (Due in Febuary). Last year I ordered an Avalon
in a dark blue; waited four extra months to get the color. Toyota discontinued the color. That one turned out okay; we bought a Highlander in the nicest looking blue on earth & like the vehicle three times better than the Av.
I digress.
Looks to me like we need a "club"; "The Bricks USA"!
We'll elect Dr. Bonz the Pres and hold annual meetings in his living room!! From the pics he posts it appears he has a nice house. Wonder if his bride can cook/barbeque? After din-din he can give us a lecture/demo on the joys of Zaino!
All in favor, say....

Hmmm... a club of Brickyard owners??? I think the name "Brickheads" borders too close to being derogatory. How about "The wall"?.... or "The Foundation"?
As for the color... I can only echo what others have said here. When it comes down to it, people are going to like different colors, but the comment that I keep getting from owners and non-owners of 350Zs that I have not heard once about any of the other seven colors is... "That is a very classy looking color".
BTW, Dr. Bonz! I'm up to 7 coats of Zaino (counting the proper way). This young padawan learner is one his way to being a DDZC Zaino-master!

Loving the car. Drove it today for the first time in 2 weeks. It was great.
Maybe we could call ourselves the "'Yard dogs" since bricks is too close to pri...

Alas, The Doctor has stalled out at 20 layers of Zaino. My Z is safely garaged away for the winter. I just got my Courtesy Nissan car cover in the mail today. I'll be putting it on in a couple days. I slapped on a layer of Z-5 (in between layers of Z-6) on my Stealth and drove to work this AM. Good thing too. It was VERY icy around these parts and a minivan decided to do a "1080" (that would be 3 full spins) in front of me on the highway. I was going about 60 and tapped the breaks just enough to slow me down so I could steer around him on the right berm. If it was the Z (much lighter than my Stealth and RWD) I probably would have hit the guy. Some things are meant to be I guess!
