Default Driving Z to hard?

I have a 2003 350z, I try to go easy on it but every now and then on weekends I like to find an empty parking lot or Moroso and run the **** outa it Drifting, redline, ect. I was wondering if it would cause any long term damage or if I'm just waisting tires and gass, are the Z's really meant to take the abuse?

I think it should take it like a champ. Just don't go on a parking lot full of little rocks and pieces of glass..mad chips that way!

Do you plan on having this car for 100K miles.....well very hard driving will have an impact on the vehicles longevity. The VQ was built to last you at least 200K miles. It has won numerous awards and has been on Wards 10 best engines 10 years in a row. If you turn cars over every couple of years like me, then drive it like you stole it!!!

Default Somewhere is a line between ...

“hard driving” and “abuse,” and I done know where your line is.

I paid for 287 horsepower, and I’m going to use everyone of them.

i drive mine pretty rough sometimes when the occasion warrants or that certain "ricer" needs showing who's boss.

the only tips i can think of that would help with more aggressive driving would be make sure you shift quick so you are not bouncing off of the revlimiter in every gear, and try to learn how to properly shift. its one of the most important things i think.
