Hi, I am currently saving up to buy a car. I am new to this forum and I do not know anything about 350z's except that they handle well as a stock car and that I like the way they look. =p I was wondering if there are any Negative aspecs about the car. I've heard that its a rough ride, which doesn't bother me. Anything else important I should know about?

 

Well...The Z WON'T have a soft suspension like the Honda Predlude ....The Z is a PURE Sportscar and WILL have a firmer suspension, which sounds like is OK with you!

I have an '05 Z and have nothing negative to report about it AT ALL...it's FAST, LOOKS GREAT, AND FUN!

The BEST way to REALLY evaluate it is to take a Z for a Test Drive....and to ask yourself if a 2 seater fits in with your lifestyle. If you HAVE to haul around kids ALL THE TIME, I'd say get a 4 door Sports Sedan, like the Mazda 6 ...Hell ..you can fit 4 people in an RX-8!

Good luck with your decision...Just don't buy an American Car!! kinda conflicts with "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!"...but, oh well... LOL!!

 

Are you buying new or used ?
if new, most problems have been worked out. Nothing major that i know of.
if used 03' 04' some have had uneven tread wear due to agressive camber settings from factory. I didn't have that personally, but my toes settings were all messed up. Nissan took care of that and gave me new tires for free anyway !

Just buy the car, and at todays gas prices, hopefully you have a gas efficient beater.
