I just call my Z my second wife, which my first.....

<-------wife..(dreaming)... doesn't like to well. but I explained it to her in terms of children, just cause you got more than one doesn't mean you love one less than the other....unless one is handicap

There's a couple of ppl who call their Z male but didn't explain why. Hmmm...if you have a big lifted truck, would you still call it a female?

 

LOL 90% of the time I see a huge lifted truck driving around it's usually some really short guy driving it. There is a guy who works in the same building as I do has this HUGE F350 thats all jacked up and has huge tires and makes a lot of noise and he is all of like 5' 3" I think its funny.

 

This is sort of a strange subject, and typically I'd think a straight guy would want to give his car a chick name to avoid any homoerotic references. Especially when the Z is nicknamed the Fairlady in Japan.

HOWEVER, when you look at popular tv/movie references, the vehicles are typically given male names.
Examples:
General Lee
Bandit
K.I.T.T.
Herbie (yeah, I know Bugs are kinda gay.. but its just an example)


There are girls though too
Eleanor
Christine

Then of course you have gender neutral names.

I'm sure others can think of more examples, just thought I'd chime in because a lot of you are saying "guy names are gay" but no one ever says the General Lee is gay. Hypocracy EVERYWHERE

 

General Lee was in memory or well General Lee, K.I.T.T. stood for something but I can't remember what. Bandit, weren't they referring to Burt Rynolds with that name? Actually in Gone in 60 Seconds I am pretty sure every car had a female name, even when they where going to get the Benz's they said he was there picking up the Pit Boss's Lady. I love movies, especially car movies lol.

Guys Call Their Cars With Girl Names.. I Don't Know What Girls Call Theirs!!

 

Cars have always been referred to with female names. I wouldn't want to be driving Rodger around anyway when it could be Katrina or something.

 

A chick friend of mine suggested I use the name Zelda for my car. Has a Z, is a chick name, and a video game reference. Hard to beat. (The geek in me has been exposed!)

 

My G is reffered to as a 'her'.....
My fiancee knows that she's the 3d love of my life.....
The plane, and the car are firsts.....
