Default when will this stop????

Ok, I just got my new z last week and I am finding myself taking the "long" way home and to places, and I purposely "forget" to pickup something and then I have drive back to get it. I love this car! but when will this stop?! or am I going to just fork out $100 in gas every week..

I was the same way when I first brought it, not necessary "forget things" I just went for cruises and I couldn't wake up soon enough to drive it. I hated going to bed cause I'll start thinking about where to drive the Z the next day and was washing and cleaning the Z every other day.

Unfortunately, since it was my daily driver, that level of excitment has faded and I expect this would happen to everyone. Now that its no longer my daily driver, some of that excitment is back, I can't wait till the weekends which is when I drive it now and I wash it about every two weeks.

It never ends.

$10 gives me about 67 miles of fun. Where else can you get such a bargain for $10?

LOL We picked up our Z in Jan 05 and 15,000 miles later still not tired of it, Its mainly a daily driver, but when I or my hubby need to go out for stuff or just to take a cruise we take the Z. Its addicting for sure, for some more than others I guess, my husband always jokes, that the car was out driving almost everyday till about May, then cut it down to, at the very min every 2 days.

And gas? if it was a problem i would of bought a toyota prius. Also we go by the age old rule of "A car is meant to be driven"

Good luck and have fun

Had mine a little over a year and that feeling is still alive and well. When I am feeling a little down or having a hum drum day, I just wait till I am on a quite piece of roadway, down shift and rev her up. Nothing crazy, but just a little push to hear her purr. Life gets instanly better each time!

Like it's been said, it will NEVER end. I've had my 04 since June 04 and I'm at 30,750 miles!!!!! I can NOT stay out of this car!!!!

To this day, I still find myself turning around and looking at it as I walk away. Now THAT'S what love is all about

I agree (not about your @$$, about the doors). The car is much easier to get out of with the doors up.

And yeah, when I do drive mine, I look for the long ways and "back roads" that make the trip more fun.

I park my car in the garage.. then I think "did I lock the car?", so I go back to relock the car and stair for a minute or two before I come in.. HeHeHe!! It has became a routine now! Oh, yeah...taking the long route is a given~~

Yeh, I do that too, the "turn around and stare, the over the left shoulder and right shoulder look" and not to mention the parking a mile away and have to walk a mile to the store so hopefully some idiot wont park next to me and put dings on my baby
