Red hot 350z: check out this cool ride

I would love to see more engine bay pics. The turbo set up keeping the stock exhaust manifolds is crazy... I would love to see a little more.
This is the turbo set up I leaning towards. How is it for daily driving? A T3/04 is a GOOD size turbo so I wonder about the lag? When does she start to spool?

From what I understand, the compressor map in this turbo was 'tweaked' specifically for the Z, and lag is not bad at all. It starts spooling by around 3200 RPM and is at full boost by 4000. It's a real beast, and I promise you you will not be disappointed.
I'll get you some more pics this weekend. Our group is doing a detail day and I'll have about 20 cars at my house this weekend. A little OT, but here's a picture of the last detail day we did....

So a heavy kit will kill my performance along with my 20" rims lol...Im thinking in the neighborhood of 30-40lbs on average they weigh. Of course material its made of makes a difference.

As for your dealers statement that a body kit is the only mod you can do without voiding your warranty, they are flat out lying to you (boy it pisses me off to hear about stuff like that). Google "Magnusson-Moss Act", it is your friend. Basically, it says that you can replace any OEM part with any non OEM part you want. The non-OEM part will not be covered under warranty obviously, and the dealer has the responsibility of proving that the non-OEM part was the cause of a defect elsewhere in a system. For example, if you put a pop-charger on your car and your oil pump goes out and takes the whole engine with it, they must prove that the failure was a result of the popcharger (good luck!). If they can't prove it, then the repair is covered under warranty. There was a recent thread here where a guy with a normally aspirated car with intake and exhaust mods lost his engine. He ended up having to get a lawyer to force Nissan to send a regional tech out to inspect the car, but it was determined that his mods were not the cause and his engine was replaced under warranty.
Anyway, sorry for the long winded response, but I wanted you to be aware that you CAN mod your car, as long as you understand and accept the effects on things like your warranty. The dealer is almost never your friend.
