Default My Z just got disabled...

I was driving around and when I pulled into a gas station to adjust
my tire psi, thre was smoking coming out from my hood area...
So I was like oh ****, I looked at the gauge and it was overheating like crazy.
When I popped the hood, the radiator fluid was gushing out like there's no tomorrow...
It seems like that both fans aren't working...I really don't understand..the
car is only 4 months old with 4624 on the odo...
I only have bolt ons with Pop Charger and Nismo Intake...I also just had
the ECU reflash two days ago...
Is there possibility any of these would have caused the fan failure???
I was thinking maybe the ECU had to do with it, but according to Jason, it doesn't seem to be the case...

**** I'm so mad right now...and tow truck's taking FOREVER to pick me up

But how would the fans being off make radiator fluid gush out?

Think he's saying the fans aren't cooling off the radiator.

I'd take off the performance mods to make sure Nissan will fix your car.

I’m surprised that you had the ECU programmed before the warranty expired.

Unless they take the car out and find that the rev-limit has been raised, there is no way for the dealer to tell that this has been done. At least that's my understanding.

Oops typo, it's Pop Charger and Nismo Exhaust haha...

It appeared that when I got ECU flash from Technosquare 2 days ago,

THEY FORGOT TO RECONNECT THE FAN CONNECTORS....OMG...

So if you ever get ECU reflash by them, REMIND THEM TO PUT IT BACK ON

Basically I've been driving around with no fan running for the past two days, and it finally overheated when I had my AC on today...
I refilled the coolant on the radiator and overflow tank (fluid was almost bottomed out)
and took it back to Technosquare to turn off 'SERVICE ENGINE SOON' light...

I just hope I didn't damage my engine...I did turn the ignition off as soon
as I saw the smoke come out from the hood...
It feels as if the car's not pulling as hard...between 3K to 4K RPM.
I will drive some more to see if anything else is wrong...damn I hope
my engine's alright=(

BTW, my engine bay area is dranched with radiator fluid...smells horrible and
looks messy as hell.
What would be the good way to get rid of the stains and smell?
Engine detailing?

I would take it back to these morons at Technosquare - have them clean the whole engine, check everything and get your money back. I would also get it in writing that they forgot to reconnect the fans, in case something goes wrong so you can sue their a$$es. That's not a simple mistake, you could've lost your engine or at least shortened its life.

I would take it back and see if they would clean up the mess for you. If not, just leave it running and hose it off, its safe, just dont aim directly at eletrical stuff.

On another note, why would they disconnect the fans to flash the ecu?

gsazabi, just saw your location and it brought back memories. I grew up, just off Nordhoff just a few miles from you (right behind Valley Park Baptist Church, I think it is still there). Anyway, nothing to add to your post, just thought I'd throw one back to my homie. Go Dodgers!

I believe that it does show up on the CONSULT. I don't remember the post but, IIRC it shows something. I am still trying to figure out why they would disconnect the fans.
