cream rising to the top.
boy have things changed. I used to start my day at ZCAR.com because it seemed to have the most info. then I'd hit Freshalloy and My350z. but now this is the first site I go to, and spend most of my time here. It seems that zcar has had an such an infusion of newbies that they keep rehashing issues we covered months ago. yawn

This is the place
I use this, and only this site on a dialy basis. Seems that there is much more up-to-date info here and significant thoughts and ideas. My workload has suffered so much! Oh well, some things are more important?! Priorities, people. I think you all understand...

I don't go to any other site. I like this site. I like this forum. And above all I like the people here. Oh yeah, the webmaster is cool too, even though he says I have nothing interesting to say, lol. j/k Jay.

Yeah, this place has really taken off with the new software! Besides, if any real news pops up on zcar.com, it will be reposted here by someone in minutes. I still read both, but only make new posts here.

I deleted zdriver from my "favorites" list. No offense, but it's pretty lame if you are looking for info or banter about the 350z. Freshalloy is not much better. I've noticed a lot of the old regulars have all but abandoned zcar. This has fast become the best site out there.

I still check zcar from time to time, but truth is, I started this site because I felt that Zcar was quickly becoming over-run with..umm... how should I say this nicely? People that exercise poor judgement when commenting on the new Z.
(*** clowns)
I have tried to start neutral on my feelings about different sites, I even link to Zcar on every page in the site other than the forum. As well as a few other sites...
I know we're not the largest site out there, but hoipefully in time we'll have a nice databse of users. The way things are going, i think we will have. I'll start the Z marketing machine soon and really kick it into gear.
I am really happy though that you all have helped me make this place the place it is. Sure, there will always be comeone posting a thread without reading all the other threads first, but hey, we were all there once, no big deal.
1SZTEVER... that avatar is freakin' hilarious. That guy has a series of ***** that are trying to be marketed right now, I heard about them on Stern. Too funny.

Stop it!! You girls are killing me...lol (laughing out loud). Sometimes I do have a hard time believing that those girls are not getting paid to make fools of themselves on Howard's show. Ya never know.

What a lull we're going through in regards to new information about the Z.
...speaking about revisiting old topics... I remember seeing a while ago where someone was worried about the number of 350Zs on the road reaching noticeably high levels (like the new Mustang). I don't think we need to worry about it (I'll admit i'm not an expert on cars, so forgive me any mistakes I make). When you consider the number of Mustangs, Cameroes and Corvettes (reaching higher levels every day), it's important to take into consideration that these are historically desirable cars and now they're making a decent to good looking comeback. Also take into account that these are "American" cars and that a lot of these people have grown up with the impression that having on of those "babies" is almost like paying respect to the previous generation as well as having a muscle car. With the Z, there are a lot of hardcore fans out there, but the fact that there are some unfilled alotments out there... I take it as a sign. Sure people might order a 350Z once they see how good it's going to look, but there aren't anywhere near as many people that are going to get one to feel patriotic (and in hopes of driving the noteable american cars of their generation). Just my thoughts :->
About this forum, I really like the way the sub catagories are laid out.. it doesn't allow for tangents like zcar, but it's much easier to read and back out of... I like it, especially the avatars though i've yet to get one. Nicely put together, Jayman

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Just made my first post of the night and saw my new name. I like this one. I fell out of my chair laughing at the first new one too. At first I didn't really care for it. But then I remembered that I did make the mistake of telling Jay that he could use whatever he wanted. Hey you just did what I asked you to Jay. I like this one better though. I think its a little more fitting. Contrary to popular belief here, I think that at least a few of my posts have been interesting, lol. Check out my new signature line. I thought it was clever.
