Is this "rice"?
I just took off the front Nissan burger and the back Nissan burger and had these > http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...ode=Z33EM-2003 installed on to the front and back I also plan on putting "FairladyZ" in place of "350Z". I was wondering if that is "rice" and too many Z's all over the car or if it is a great idea. Any opinions or pics from anyone who has done it?

I used to want the same emblem as you but I have changed my mind. It's not because it looks "rice" like you stated. But it's because the solid emblem just didn't look right. I would get the chome one that has a Z but has the two empty spaces. That way it looks like the stock accept it has a Z instead of nissan. I basically want to do this to take away all traces of the "nissan" brad away.

I changed the front burger to the "Z" emblem but the rear one doesn't fit right. If you look at the rear hatch is has a different contour than the front bumper so the rear "Z" burger emblem won't sit flat on the surface of the car. Also the rear Nissan emblem is smaller in diameter than the front one. The 2 I got from Courtesy were the same size and shape. I called Courtesy on this and they said nobody has ever complained so I guess I'm just to ****. The bottom line is I changed the front but left the orginal on the rear.
And no I don't think it looks ricey.

It definately does not sit flat. I had to get my done by a body shop because I had left some of the adhesive from the Nissan emblem and due to the contour of the trunk hatch the adhesive forced the back emblem a little loose over night (plus it was a little crooked).

Personally, I think there are too many Z's on the outside...
But why would you care what I think? Who cares even if it was ricey? If you like it, go for it...

I went ahead and did it. I will upload pics ASAP. I think it looks great and also read up on http://www.datsunhistory.com/Roadsterstory.html. Z owners should have a look.

I would change the front and leave the rear as is...and as far as FairLadyZ, most people would think that you're gay....I thought about getting FRLDYZ for my personalized license plate, but again, the gay factor...so I got something else different for my plate instead, and it also has a Z in it....

Gott'em an love'em... had no fitment issues. Not ricey as it's a very subtle change IMHO. I found the chrome burgers didn't match the rest of the car as the sidemarkers, wheels, etc... are grey. These emblems finish it off nicely. My only other preference would be to take them off completely, but that involves bodywork. Once I get my central20 bumper, then they'll be gone.

I am not a big fan of the fairladyZ, I bought my car used and it had it on there and people were always trying to race me. I removed it about 6 months ago and people hardly ever try and race me now. So if thats your thing more power too you it is just not for me.
Now I only have the nissan burger on the back and I think it looks pretty clean having nothing on the left.

It's a Z so putting a Z on it is fine. Most people don't mind the Fairlady Z but I do... If it's not right hand drive there is NO need for a fairlady Z on the car...
It's not RICE though.
