What mods to get first?
We are going to be getting Nismo rims, new tires and Nismo sways, but we cant decide if we should get the Nismo exhaust or S-tune suspension, but cant get both at this time (gotta eat this month
). But what would or should be a priority to you guys exhaust or susp? and why? Just want to hear some opinions on it.
Thx

If you are doing the rims then you are going to want to get it lowered anyhow, so do the suspension first. Exhaust doesn't make a big difference but the drop will look sweet. Plus you are going to want to get an alignment done after the install so it can stay at the wheel shop for that.

But if you really are talking about driving stuff. we both were active in SCCA club events and courses in the mid 80's to the early 90's with a rabbit gti (mine) and 1st and 2nd gen rx7's
my hubby also tracked roadbikes for over 10 yrs too.

exhaust is greater priority than exhaust IMO
you'll barely notice any boost in power with the exhaust
the suspension though, you WILL notice AND use it every second you drive the car in terms of feel

I just got my exhausts, the greddy evo 2, it was a good 1st mod for me, but now i want rims, but i dont want to pay for suspension, if i do that i would want to go all out on suspension and not just get springs, so it will cost me some bones and i have to worry right now with my money, eventually once you get an hp upgrade, your gonna wanna look for an exterior upgrade next, thats the why i feel......so why dont u compliment some exhauts, with some rims and susp for xmas.

A lot of people have asked about what mods they should do and I have never seen anyone say "take some driving lessons." It sounds a little sexist to me that when a woman asks what she should mod, she is told to learn to drive, even after she has driving experience.
greenkoolaid: in davidv's defence, he tells EVERYONE to take driving classes first, man or woman. I've seen his posts for over a year even from another forum. He is the last to take a biased stand.
Leslie: according to your mods that you have purchased already, I do suggest the suspension first to get all the suspension mods outta the way so you don't have to worry about that anymore. Then go all out power delivery.
Good luck!

Track time should be the first thing done with a new car...(after break in of course)
Learn how the car is stock and get your launch down! Get good enough to enter brack racing.
Then mod the car...

I’ve been promoting performance driving schools (such as Summit Point, WV above) for all 350Z drivers. I venture that about 50 percent of 350Z drivers have the talent to push the car to its maximum capabilities. Performance modifications are great, but the most important component of the 350Z is the driver.
