Actually, someone who owns a shop bought the car to fix it. It was only about $8,000 in parts, the rest was labor which if you own the shop is much cheaper than a billable rate.

How much if at any will this affect your insurance rate? Just curious b/c I just had about 7k worth of damage to my Z. If anyone has any simular experiences with their insurance raising after an accident... please post.
