For anyone else looking at the post who has not receved or orderd the car... get everything in writing... IF they promise to or not to do something make sure it is in writing.... That is how I took care of it when I orderd my car.... I told them and it was wrien in my order contract that no holes were to be drilled for a front plate and no dealer sticker....

Specified to dealer, "No plate mount!"

Dealer does it anyway...

3rdpower makes the dealer pay repair fees

Been a while...

Anyone end up getting bumper plugs? I'm interested to see how they look before ordering.

walesinc,

how did you get the epoxy smooth? since the holes are verticle, it seems it would run down until dry. or did you take the bumper off and lay horizontal to avoid this?

I ordered the bumperplugs. They look MUCH better than the holes in the bumber.

I'll see if I can take a photo and post it for you when I get home. To be honest, the plugs are pretty expensive for what you get. You could get what you need for a DIY job at Home Depot for about $1.95 plus $2.98 for Nissan Touch Up paint.

Over all though, I am quite happy with the results.

I think the CA vehicle code or some other regulation requires all new car dealers to mount front license plates to their new cars....

Of cource my came pre-mounted. But these dimples are some what annoying.

can someone please post pics of the bumper plugs installed and the epoxy filling method.

I think both will look good but I would like to have some comparison to decide.

Maybe pics at a few feet away and then close ups as well.
