That's awesome. Does the key hole under the bumper have a mechanical linkage to a door lock or to the trunk-hatch?

If the battery is dead, how does that work? Mechanical linkage to all three "doors"?

Do they have steel cables go thru the door hinges? I cannot see them doing it any other way mechanically.

I'm still trying to figure out how to unlock the trunk if the battery dies in a roadster. If the seat is all the way back, it can't be done.

And did you know departrment- you can lock or unlock both doors with just the key? twist it to the right 2 times to lock both doors. twist it to the left 2 times to unlock both doors. Nice if you sneak home at 2 a.m. and dont want to awaken your wife by sounding the horn!

Did you know you can program the remote so only the lights blink with no horn at all when you lock or unlock?? So your wife don't know if you use the key or the remote?

Have not tried this yet. If the batery is dead, you can unlock the door by using the one and only key hole on the driver door. Would we be able to open the trunk by using the button by the license plate? Not sure how is that possible unless the two are connected by mechanical means.
