I installed the red cables...it's not as dark as the brickyard, but looks ok. It's only the second day since the install, but it does seem to be less harsh sounding in the higher revs...could just be my imagination.

Regarding the diffuser, I got in on a group buy...

I want a body kit, but I liked different parts from different kits..I saw an opportunity to buy in at a lower than usual price for the front diffuser that I wanted.

Yeah, double clutching is when you let the clutch out while in neutral between shifts. But when downshifting, you have to tap the accelerator too. The goal is to match the rotation speeds on both sides of the clutch (between the engine and wheels) to avoid unncessary power loss. If you downshift without double-clutching, you might notice how the car lunges as the synchronizers engage. The synchronizers eliminate the *need* to double-clutch, but I think double-clutching is still more efficient. Synchronizers do their job by robbing power similar to how an automatic transmission does.

My names summer, I just took delivery of my Z pn Nov. 25.

Another girl (obivously) but no Z yet. Hopefully by this summer I will have one, and learn to drive a stick!

 

Z is my first stick too. When I took delivery of the car they couldn't believe that I was learning it on the Z. I still have a automatic that I drive to work, occasionally I get confuse with the two.

 

Summer, Do you go to ND? My girlfriend graduated from there in 2001. I have been there once and it was a pretty nice campus.

Nope, that's not what I was trying to tell you. I was basically saying that lots of girls don't like guys who are leghumpers (on here tryin to get chicks all the time, and very bad at it too) and if the girls wanna come out and say they're a girl, then that's them, but I'm not gonna go give out their names.
