Angry Z got KEYED!!

I went to the local performance shop to get some nightshade so I could tint my tail lights. I see this kid walking next to my car when his car was on the other side of the lot. I thought maybe he's just taking a look at my car. As soon as I get back I see that the ***nut keyed it from the beginning of my driver door to the end of my fenders. I was PISSED. Luckily the dumb@ss was in the store next door. Let's just say I got arrested. You fill in the blanks. Since there were no witnesses to the vandlism of my car, there is no proof of him being the one keying my car. Which in the end means, that I must pay for everything. Isn't that awesome? I got MY car keyed, and I got MY @ss arrested.

By the way, my local bodyshop wants NINE HUNDRED dollars to fix it. This is ridiculous.

Damn dude.. another problem.. sorry to hear. I assume you are FURIOUSSSS. Good luck with everything. I would make a police report on this your insurence shouldn't take a hit on this claim... that way you can take it to the best shop so they can paint it perfect!

Don't get me wrong... that sucks.

You do realize that it is just a car though. It's not like he raped your first born or anything!!

Hopefully the insurance will cover it!!

One of my EX employees keyed my car... so I do know what this guy is going through.

What I couldn't fix myself is costing my 1500+ to fix

But it's only a car!!

Well when I call him a kid, I'm refering to his maturity level. He was probably around my age. Let's just say I had a good ounce of his blood on my fists. Funny thing is that he was with his friend and his friend just stood there and watched him get his *** wooped.

^^^ this is the most stupid thing i have ever read on the internet. ^^^

i mentioned this another thread just like this, i understand you're mad man, and with every right, but it is just a car. metal. why get arrested because some punk decided to be a vandal and scratch you z? if you see him do it, call the cops, file a claim, and have it fixed. not go out and break the law by beating a punk and then getting arrested yourself. but i think a lot of us could have gotten caught up in the moment and lost control, its hard to say what you would have done in that situation if it were you... hopefully its a lesson learned for you and the punk. i am sure he will think twice about it nice time.

btw, what exactly did you do to the kid?

$900 is teh suck.

I'm going to get flamed for this but I really don't care at this point.

I'm sorry about your car dude, I really am. But you point out his maturity level but then go on to point out how you went on to physically assault him!?!? It really isn't making you look like the more mature one.... it's really not.

there is no reason for anyone to walk by a car that they can't get and decide to key it.....gotdamn...i hate those ***** F*KA....I'm furious just thinking about a freaking stranger walking up to my car and keying it, so furious that i have murderous thoughts....i had one of my cars keyed once, and all I thought about was how to kill that guy's entire family and leave him to live alone not knowing what the f*K happend...i go out and people ding my doors and all I can think of is how I would beat them into a pulp if I ever see them....man...you don't mess with someone's car like that

I love how you say 'only a car'. You're 100% correct, it's 'only' a car. But the way I look at it, it'll take me a month of work to pay for the damages being a student. After this incident happened, I'm thinking twice about all the modifications that were on my 'get-list'. It's just not worth it, plus 5 seconds of a ****** life moves me months farther away from the modifications I want to complete.

Do you guys have any idea how insurance would settle this? I understand it's vandalism but I have a 1000 dollar deductible. Am I screwed or does the deductible not apply for vandalism?

that's one piece of **** who will never be keying someone else's car again, that's for damn sure! i don't even have my Z yet (on order), but hearing this kind of thing makes my blood boil. it's disgusting how little respect some people have for other peoples' property - although violence generally doesn't solve anything, you did the right thing, man. i'm sure it's not the first bad thing he's done, and he needed to be taught a lesson. right on.

come on man. if someone vandalizes someone else's car like that, they need to be disciplined. everybody has the right to avenge themselves when they are wronged. the guy needed to be hurt. since there were no witnesses, there would have been no other way to punish the guy, so he did what he needed to do instead of being a pushover and letting th guy get away with it.

First of all, I respect your point of view. But how you say that I'm immature for physically assaulting him, I disagree. He asked for it. I mean it literally, "DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT," was rushed out of his mouth as soon as I asked him if he *ucking keyed my car.

for all of you talking about don't take the situation in your own hand, you do not know how it feels to go out to your car and see this motherf*kr walking around who you do not know, who just keyed your car just because you have a nice car....think about how you would feel...put yourself in that f*kr shoes "OOOOH, that's a nice car, I can't have it, so I'll go key it"....KILL HIM

I'm sorry, but it made my blood boil when i walked out to my car one time and saw someone drew a line on FIVE panels of my car
