Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, name is Mike, from Miami FL. I'm a former Mustang GT owner. I sold my 423 RWHP GT and just fell into a Touring Z.

Some idiot destroyed my front bumper this morning, I've had the car for 3 days now. I installed my the AEM intake last night and now I will need a new front bumper.

I was parked at my job (private parking lot), and some guy who obviously shouldn't be driving a Tow truck made a close turn and the rear of his bed did this....




The lunatic tried to run away, but I was just walking away from my car when he did. He's paying for it. Anyway, new OEM bumper on the way and a lip to start with. I'll be buying wheels next week or so, I'll post pics.

Twin Turbo Setup, don't know regarding wheels, too many options if you know what I mean, a nice front lip, new rear wing, and hopefully aftermarket NAV for now...

The GT was fast, 11.23 @ 123mph... but it was too rough for a daily driver and must I say 9mpg... lol... I have more pics of it...

 

Thanks man, but the bodyshop already charged the lunatic... and has ordered everything from Nissan. Hopefully I could have the car done soon. I now have tie straps holding that vicious bumper .

 

Sorry about your Z. Similar thing happened to me--on my fourth day of owning my Z I got into a minor car accident. Had to get a new new fender and front bumper. To spice it up since silver is a hard color to match, they had to repaint my other fender and my hood. Nine miles per gallons is ridiculous, I'd have to fill up my tank 3 times a week.

 

I was filling up my tank 3 times a week, oh and that was 50 dollars in 93 octane down here in Miami... That sucked. All my friends laugh at me cuz I bought a Z... Their idiots... I love the car. they drive 10 second cars, most of them... figures... I'll get the Z down on the 1/4 numbers... lol

 

hehe had my Z wtih about 400 miles a friend of mine rear ended me on the highway when we were otw home lol

 

He must not be your friend any more, did you slap him? I would have been hitting him for days... lol, not that I'm violent, but dayum, your own friend... lmao

 

Guys I've noticed, there are thousands of Z's my color, down here and I need to be different. This is a tough one, I will have to end up with iForged wheels, and just lips... I don't know, any suggestions? I'm going Greddy Twin.....

 

welcome to the forum. I am really sorry about what happened to your Z, luckily you were around when it happened and caught that ****er.

Oh your GT looks great as well, what kinda F/I do you have on the GT?

Get the TT kit for the Z and you can still be daily drivable and reasonable mpg, and better yet, the Z handles!

 

ipcheck you should check out the locale Z club www.sfzcc.com They are a great bunch of people and can steer you to the good shops for your mods.

 

Let me know how the TT works out...mostly WHP numbers and Price of install.
I live close enough to Miami to drive down for an install if need be.
6-7K for TT kits a little high when you still have to have the damn thing installed...lol
I would LOVE for it to be 6K total...

Have you looked into a single turbo set up?

 

Nothing against Greddy, but check out Turbonetics single turbo kit...I believe you'll get at least the power output the Greddy has and only about half the hassle and weight.

Wow, you sound a lot like me! I just bought my silver 03 Touring about 2 months ago. I sold my 02 true blue GT for it. There are deffinitly days that I regret it. What all did you have done to the GT? I had all of the basics....flowmasters, 4.10's, 75mm throttle body, CAI, and it was lowered. I was getting ready to put the Cobra spoiler on mine too! Actually, it's still sitting in my garage I think....Hmmm, bet I could sell that. Anyway, beautiful cars, and that sucks about the tow truck.
