The funny thing is you can probably get it custom made... The Z looks as if it were meant to be targa top, I am sure a shop would charge anywhere from 3-6K to do... Which isn't bad in my opinion, the question is would you have paid an extra 4K for targa from the dealership?

I would pay an extra 4k for targa!!! I want t-tops or a targa top!!! PLEASE! If they come out with that, then forget everything else.... I am buying a Z. Without the targa or t-top, it's a lot harder for me to justify getting a Z. I love sunshine, wind, etc...

there official stance was that it is not possible, they cited the roof being too sloped for it to be feasible. they have the convertable to appease some.

Id love a targa top, not that it would help me a damn bit for them to make one now. but I sure would be jeoulous.

The targa looks too short on that photoshopped picture. If a targa was done it should go all the way back to the B pillar... doesn't look like it from that pic

Maybe I am pillar illiterate, but the middle pillar. The car wouldn't look like a convertible and you'd still have all the connections for the hatch. I still don't see how anyone would be able to store the top. =) no room inside... except the passenger seat!! woohoo

Niiiiice photoshop. Victor did a very, very nice one some months ago.

I would pay for a Targa top but I suspect handling would go straight to hell.

I can only dream and hope that by August 2004 there will be a Twin Turbo, or a T-top, or both in one! I want to buy in 2005.... hence the August 2004...
