I usually don't drive my Z when I'm going out at night, for this very reason. My Explorer was low on gas, so I figure what the hell... I'll go out in the Z. Big mistake!

I got to work earlier today, and had to go in the passenger side for something when I noticed the damage. There is a large dent in the passenger door with the muddy boot print still visible. It was kicked hard enough to push the sheet metal into the door frame and cause a crease, which is caused the paint to crack and peel. I took it by a body shop and got an estimate of $800-900 to repair.

Thankfully, my insurance is going to let me file this under comprehensive ($250 deductible). It just really sucks that people cannot respect other's property. My BMW I used to have was keyed all down one side, now this on my Z...

Now I'll just have to hpope that the paint matches correctly, as they tell me the silver is much harder to match. The guy at the body shop said they will have to respray almost the entire side to get it to look correct.

Has anyone else had a hate crime committed against their Z???

 

I've not had something like that happen, but I can't tell you how many times people back in to my bumpers, leave an acre of their paint behind and drive off as if nothing happened. This world is full of welfare babies. Things will only continue to deteriorate, sadly.

i came out from a bar i was at one night and looked at my Z. there were finger prints all over it even including the roof!! not sure what was going on but someone was climbing on my car!! it left just very small dents in the roof (bairily noticeable luckily). but have door dings on both the drivers and passengers doors. someone kicked my vette door once, and luckily didn't crack the fiberglass but did crack the paint. then on my other vette, i did a complete custom paint job and parked it way out by itself in a parking lot and came back and some a-hole keyed it all the way down 2 weeks after painting it. luckily 7 coats of clear left me a good margin to buff it out.

 

The past two months...my poor Z has been egged and had two nails in the rear tires that were very suspicious (in the sidewall...not tread) on the two rear tires which resulted in me buying BRAND NEW tires. The tires were a week apart...the egg was about 3 weeks prior.

Haters suck

 

You guys are probably getting mis-treatment from jealous losers who work @ McDonalds for $6/hour and drive around in Yugo's.

It pisses me off when I hear stuff like this.

But, Karma is a *****, they will eventually get what they deserve.

 

Hopefully Karma will catch up with that A-hole...and all the other fekers that can't stand for someone else to have something nicer than they have.

I would never think of doing something like that to someone I hate, much less to someone's car that I don't even know. When I see a nicer car than mine, I may stop and gawk at it, but I would never try to destroy it...

vandals and haters will always be around as long as there are eye-candy cars like the Zs on the road.....some retard threw a rock at my Z just a few days ago at an intersection. Within the last five years, i've had beer bottles thrown through my windshield on the freeway, eggs thrown and multiple nails planted in those brand new Dunlaps on my black 00 jetta VR6....well, aren't we glad we got insurance?

I parked in front of a GMC truck of some kind at circuit city a couple years ago. I noticed it had hit a small bird, which was stuck in the grille. I noticed it cuz it was nasty. After twenty minutes in circuit city, I come out, the truck was gone, I open the door, see that same squished bird right on my driver's seat. Blood all over the place.

Now lucky for him, I don't remember his plate #, cuz it's a small town here, and one way or the other I could've hunted him down and shove that bird right into his throat. Some people gotta learn their lessons the hard way.
