Get off of his back
The guy is only human, we all will make a mistake...

just let a good bodyshop repair it, and you will never know this car was in an accident.

not all car accident are reported to carfax.
i have an 01 eclipse that has been in 5 wrecks, but when you run a carfax only 2 will show..

Good Luck
Duck 704...

Some of you guys are so dramatic. Others of you are just plain mean. The car can be fixed and should be fine. Odds are your bodyshop won't report it to carfax (reporting is way less frequent than you think) and with a good repair you should be good to go. Don't listen to people who tell you "it's wrecked"...the damage does not look that bad, I would bet the car will be great after repair. Some people are way too ****...it's not like nissan puts the cars together perfectly in the first place.. Also are any of you familiar with how many new cars get bodywork before being sold as new by the dealer? You think they come across the ocean without scratches and dents?

I doubt you'll lose much value either...if you keep the car for a few years and trade it in to a dealer your loss will be minimal. The value may drop more if you try to sell to a private party though.

Don't beat yourself up about it...accidents happen to the best of us. Important thing is to learn from your mistakes. Don't let some of these guys get ya down.

value of the car salvaged really depends on the damage. if the engine or suspension was damaged then it could get expensive to fix/lower value....

I just pray to God I'm never in traffic in MD on the same road as you. Bad karma seems to follow your Zs like body odor...

There is no way this car was damaged badly enough (based on the pictures) to be issued a salvage title.

Ji, just fix 'er up and keep it. People will be very hesitant to buy, or at least offer reasonable money for a sports car that has been wrecked twice. I know it was more poor judgement than driver error that caused this last accident, but I would still strongly urge you to get out to Summit Point for an HPDE class. It will be the best money you can spend on your car.

go die in a fire.

"thank god" for the police not knowing?!?! how about be thankful the lectures were from your parents and fellow forum members not the parents of say, 4 kids killed on their way home from Dennys or something otherwise hideous.

you're a ****1ng IDIOT and lucky to be alive / should sell the car / give up driving, or at least stop drinking PERIOD until you are adult enough to make good decisions... people like you make people like me want to carry large firearms...

Like the others have said, you have to learn from your mistakes. So, quit drinking and driving. You're lucky you didn't injure yourself and caused no harm to anyone else. Get that car fixed and keep it. By keeping the car, it should remind you to be more cautious about your driving. Why do you want to sell it anyway? Do you think that it gives you bad luck?

I was thinking of asking others to take easy on you and stop being so d@mn mean, right until I read about your DWI ways. Sorry as I am to say what will follow, drunk drivers simply get no slack from me. Saying "we all make mistakes" just doesn't cut it in your case. If you have no respect for your own life, have some for those of others who share the roads with you. I know none of this will likely make a difference for you, but being human, we cringe when we see others being blatantly reckless with their lives.

So whichever car you choose to get, be careful with it!

Dude, you need to DOWNGRADE into a 4 cylinder (or 3 cylinder) Hyundai or Kia 4 door sedan.

LEARN TO DRIVE SAFELY FIRST....Maybe (NO DEFINTELY) take a Driver Training Class...THEN, In a FEW YEARS, Step up to a old Geo Storm or Ford Probe 4 cylinder
