its just different ... if these lights were the first ones to com out and then this year they came out with 03-05 the everyon would have to have them they would think look how much smaller the projector is it must be more advanced ect ect. i do know one thing.. the headlights are worth the price to upgrade.

When the first pics of the Z's headlights came out, one of them had the wheel turned and it appeared that the bulb was turned as well, then when i went to a dealer to see the 06 (they sold all 3) they were telling me some of the changes, and that the headlights moved....thats where I am getting it from. You have an 06? They REALLY dont move?
***EDIT
Just re-read your post, camaro, lol....says future Z owner, not that I dont trust you, you might know someone with a 06, but ill wait till an 06 owner lets me know, thanks!

Um, don't want to sound like I'm being a smarta$$, but why don't you guys go to the Nissan website and read the specs on the headlights of the 06?
"Headlight Design
Through a unique monocle design, the new projector beam Bi-Xenon headlights illuminate apexes of tight hairpins, and match the spectral wavelength where human eyes are the most sensitive."
If there were motin following headlights, believe me, Nissan would be advertising the fact until kingdom come.
Plus, if the lamps where to move, I doubt it would be so easy for 03-05 owners to have switched headlights like some of them already have done since there would have to be motion wires and stuff that needs to be plugged to the ecu or driving wheels so the car can tell the headlights where to move.

Um, I think you have mistaken me for a person who likes the new 2006 headlights. I have always not liked the 2006 headlights which I think is herbi-looking.

it wouldnt look so bad if it didnt have 2 "layer" on top and bottom of the projectors. wouldnt look too bad if it didnt have the bottom layer of the projector. w/ 2 makes it looks like eyelids.
