1st of all its spelled manual. And of all you think u can take me in my auto? The reason I got an auto was because my parents got me my Z after doing good on my MCAT's. What you expect me to tell them I don't want it cuz its an auto? Besides the auto and manual performance is about the same. And you know drag cars with 1500hp run autos right? Bring it on bit*h. I would love to hand you ur @$$ with my auto.

 

Congrats on the car man...I just got my DB Z a 2 months ago and like it alot...

BTW I thought the 6speed Z outruns the STI on the topend but the STI kills it on the dig? Auto Z probaby wont tho.. Doesnt really matter to me since I like them both..Just want to get the facts straight since I havent raced one yet...Supposed to run my friends EVO soon so I guess that will be a benchmark on how well I do against an STI..

Auto with a VB upgrade will smoke a STi on the top end...I have done it.

OK my very good freind owns a sti with intake, I am stock. we race everywhere we go. he is a good driver. from a dig he wins from a roll 350 always wins... when were were going over a huge mountain pass here in colorado. we ran from the bottom to the top i had 5 cars on his ***... he was sooo pissed. both are great cars but 4 wheel drags them down. when we start at 10 mph we can both rev it and drop it from a roll doesn matter what he does as long as its not from a stop 350 wins I would bet my dog on it.

Too much auto diss. For the longest time I thought manual>auto till I was proven wrong riding in my dads auto vette, he raced a coworker who had a manual, same year and they almost stayed even. That was my lesson to shut me up. It doesn't matter which car is faster. Just be glad your getting the car you want and enjoy it.

 

 

manual Z's CAN take sti's on a highway roll. i would know. i have. bunch of haters.
