He's in Florida, probably south....guessing you need to syphon gas out of your tank to put in another car so you can drive up here to orlando to get more gas? lol

I just drove back and forth to get my grandparents dry ice and a bunch of gas. Thank Nissan for giving the Z a 20 gallon tank. Stoping anywhere along 95 or the pike you'll be waiting a day for $20 in gas

Wait...I know...You need EXTRA suction power!! Attach a Hoover vaccuum to one end of the siphon tube and you're in business, son!! j/k....LOL

But seriously, I think that with newer cars the manufacturers have some sort of safety valve or something installed to prevent you from siphoning gas out!

I tried to do it recently with a 2005 Ford Five Hundred that I had to rent from Enterprise. I was only supposed to bring the car back with 1/4 tank and it had a little more than 1/2 in it. Tried SEVERAL times with a decent siphon (with a built in pump) that I bought from Auto Zone...I shoved the entire damn tube as far as it would go....NO GO!

Hope you figure it out!

You are one cheap bastard.....you bought a siphon with a built in pump for a couple bucks of gas! Is your time and effort really worth this???

If prices are so high that you have to go around stealing gasoline, geeeeze I’ll loan you the money to fill up your tank.

Have gas now - but, unfortunately, it will be a problem again!

Gas is EXPENSIVE, dude....If I can siphon out a few gallons (THAT I PAID $3+ A GALLON TO PURCHASE) to put in my snowblower or lawnmower, I'll f*ckin do it in a heartbeat!

Why the hell should I return a rental car with MORE gas than what I took it out with?? Why should Enterprise Rent A Car benefit from this??

Sh*T..Call me a cheap MF, Joey Wonderbread, I'll be that. Maybe I am..cuz I have a company car that I use 95% of the time and they give me a Gas Card.

Yeah but the price of siphon you bought from autozone negates the difference in the tank.

Haha, yeah, that's pretty funny to take that much time and effort to syphon gas. Who cares if there are a few gallons left in the tank over where you got it at. At least you won't be charged for bein under on gas. I say as long as you don't get charged a bunch for stupid stuff like not putting the gas back just return the car. Oh yeah, I work for Enterprise though, so give me your money! Haha!
