I thought it was 03? I got my car in 04 and there was no Liquid Aluminum. Anyone has pics of that color?

03 was chrome silver

 

Wasn't it extra $ to get that paint job though Like interlagos fire for 06 and ultra yellow for 05.

 

Specialty colors by year:

2003 - Brickyard Red
2004 - Liquid Aluminum
2005 - Ultra Yellow
2006 - Interlagos Fire

Chrome Silver has been available from 2003 to the current 2006's if I am not mistaken.

 

Discontinued this year. '06 has Silver Alloy.

Dude, whats your point? The Chrome Silver was available from 2003-2005. Liquid Aluminum was available for 2004 only.

 

ahh crap. After re-reading the posts, I made a mistake. They all started to sound the same: liquid aluminum, chrome silver, and silver alloy. I got mixed up. When you said "Chrome Silver has been available from 2003 to the current 2006's" I misinterpreted it as being "Liquid Aluminum has been available from 2003 to the current 2006's". Sorry for the mixup.

Yeah yellow is cool if you want to attract attention from the cops and everyone else.. lol. J/K man ultra yellow is awesome.

 

Cops hardly give me a second look.

 

liquid aluminum was a nice color when the car was new. Now, it has lost its smoothness and just looks like a brighter shade of CS

 

You suck at detailing. Mine is as bright as the day I drove off the lot!

 

Anyone have any side-by-side pictures of Chrome Silver and/or Liquid Aluminum with Silverstone? I've never been able to tell the difference on the road and I generally assume every silver z I see is SS.
