i think i'm going to go with the piloti shoes soon...my pumas on the right foot side of the pinky toe is wearing like crazy from heal and toe...the pilotis are i think are reinforced in that area and the pumas aren't...
I like the Oakley driving shoes. They are every bit as good as my Pumas except I like the red and black color better.

As long as the shoe easily flexes around the ball of your foot it will be fine.
My dress shoes are stiff as hell, which makes it uncomfortable to drive in them.
Tennis shoes or any cross-trainers are great.

I love the Oakley High Tops... I where them if I track or go out for a togue run...
For daily driving... Im uncomfortable in flip flops / bare foot... I can only wear my Prada High Top's or Nike Airs... :-/
