Some questions about 350Z

It certainly doesn't seem appropriate for a sportscar which is a "HEY! LOOK AT ME!" vehicle. Why get an attention getting vehicle and paint it with the most bland and boring of non-colors? At least it's a pearl coat white I suppose.
Although I suppose most PPW owners would say the opposite, that colors like Redline, Daytona Blue, and especially Ultra Yellow and Lemans Sunset are too outrageous. The local dealership told me that people love to stare in awe and drool over the more exotically colored 350Zs but they have lots of problems finding people willing to buy them. It seems people love the way the look but can't see themselves in one because it attracts too much attention. As a result, they sell tons of white, black, and light silver Zs and use the other colors to attract people into the showrooms. Personally, I like the fact that it provokes reactions and comments from people, both positive and negative... they just can't help but notice it. To each his own I guess.

It's good to hear people express how they truly feel, minus all the fluff.
I guess some people love WHITE because it's a blank canvas, making it somewhat of a sporty racing color, but can appear classy rolling up to the valet. It's neutral yet photogenic and "pops" in all pictures. It doesn't require any shades or extreme lighting to flatter the car but it provokes a sense of cleanliness and purity.
I would have went with it, but the PPW is a little off-white for my tastes. I like the pure white from the popular japanese sports cars of yester-year.
My next choice was a loud color like Daytona or Redline, but those colors are best reserved for show cars or less aggressive designed cars that want to appear sporty.
To explain why some people, don't go with the loud colors:
The Z is almost overwhelming in nature. It's bold on every corner of it's design. Some want others to appreciate the car for it's shape and form, not the bright color that it is wearing.
For my daily ride, I zeroed down to black, silver, or grey.
It's like a great B&W picture, where you're forced to appreciate the shape and form, and not be artificially drawn to it by some stimulus that is not adhesive to the car's structural design.
That's just my take.

My favorite Z colors are the white and black.
My least favorite color choice would probably be the yellow... Some people like it, but everytime I see one, it reminds me of the big yellow Heinz Mustard bottle..
