Alignment problems
When I first got my Z the alignment was fine. By 3000 miles the car was pulling way to the right. So when I had my oil changed at Nissan I asked for an alignment (should have asked why I needed one at only 3000 miles). The car had the same alignment problem leaving the dealership but I was late to an appointment so I just left. A buddy of mine said "the springs just need to break in". So I guess I kind of believed him so I let it go. I'm sitting at almost 7000 miles and the car still pulls to the right. Is this normal? Time for some warranty work? I travel so much for work that the only day I could possibly take it in is on a Saturday but that kills my whole day.

2005 here...after i dropped my car it was still fine..as soon as i put on brand new 19" wheels and tires....drift to the right...got alignment and still drifts.... what gives?
If the alignment figures are okay the next thing to check are the tires. If the pull still exist after swapping tires from left to right then the car its the problem. I personally think its the tires.
visionboy this maybe your problem. Go back to where you got your wheels and tires and try the swap or get a different set of tires.
Good luck

I too have an 05 and my car pulls to the right. It has since I drove off the lot. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the tire and replaced the right front tire at 3000 miles. It still pulls to the right, but not nearly as bad. I am taking it in next week to have them look at it again. Sounds like this is a bigger problem than they (Nissan) care to reveal!
I guess what I ment was if you have non OEM tires and they were not directional then you could swap them or change then out for different tires all together. I still say it may be a tire problem. I remmember something about a rod being bent during shipping but that was quite awhile back. Hope this helps.
